Wallabies 2023

It's 8 out of 28 over the last two seasons for Gordon (he hasn't played all the games).

Foley's team won the whole comp. Cooper's team won promotion from the second division.

I'd potentially see it differently if we had a big group of players who had experienced a lot of success at the level below who hadn't got their opportunity at test level but that really isn't the case.
We have been through all options during both Rennies time and now Eddie's, there is nothing new unless someone can see a highly talented 10 who should have been added. Our future looks bright to me, this cup will show us all if that is reality or BS. I'm starting to get a bit excited this morning just discussing it.

I'd rather your views on rugby without someone basically saying you don't get it because I'm smarter than you. Maybe I misread who said what originally,. Apologies if I offended, I'll take myself out.
Hi John, I meant to say I don't do offended and never have. It is an emotional hide for those who will not stand up for their beliefs without animosity.

All good - look, I got a bit over the "boomer" and related name calling - I consider it over.

Do you accept that there's such a thing as winner's mindset? A culture of success? A winning culture?

Can a similar thing not potentially exist in the minds of people that have ground away for a decade not to have any meaningful success?
In 2011, the Chiefs won 6 from 18 games in Super Rugby, yet Stephen Donald was able to guide the Darkness to their RWC win.

Great analysis of the Wallabies backs and Kellaway in particular with his support lines. McDermott has the speed to run support like Dupont, just needs the vision.. Bit easier said than done.

This is why I think Eddie has opted for Petia to move into the 13 jersey in replacement of ikitau. He's got a lot more flare and will spark opportunities like that.

I think this is the key part to it here:
There are parts to the Wallabies’ attacking game that are flourishing but the shared understanding is not there.

There's a lot of support play potential with McDermott and McReight being quick, busy and capable of linking well and Kerevi, Petaia, Nawaqanitawase and Koribete all so good one on one (also Bell an Tupou will be massive for creating these oportunites), but this unit as a whole needs so much more time together to get it right. With this article focused on Kellaway I think it actually ends up missing some similar opportunites that he wasn't involved in too, so there really is a heap of potential there.

Oh dear, someone hasn't been keeping up.

He literally just kicked a goal from directly in front that most people thought missed?
I watched a few shute shield games over the last couple of years and Randwick didn't make the semis in 21 and then were beaten by Uni in Semis and Gordon in the 1/4s. What else do you know? Haven't watched much this year.

Wait now you're telling me you know Hoiles as well?
Ignore is there for guys like you to use ...please do. I'd prefer that over brain-dead comments.
I played the game for 11 years, reff'd for 25 years and coached for a few years, you get to meet a few people, but Hoiles wasn't one of them, having watched him commentating I thought he spoke like a decent guy (comparisons are odious) What are your rugby credentials?
