TGS have a number 3, new fella James Tulikaki from NZ, with the number 10 position, 16A’s talent cooper brown slots right in, had an amazing 16A’s and he’ll be one to watch. If Craig Thaggard plays 8, it’ll be a battle between Tusi and Burrow for the number 12 jersey, which I believe Tusi should win. Predicted TGS lineup as follows:
  1. Harrison Humphreys
  2. Ruben Kruger
  3. James Tulikaki
  4. Ben Walker
  5. Rupeni Baravilala (c)
  6. Ethan Ramsey
  7. Keegan Cook
  8. Craig Thaggard
  9. Sam Elms or Jack Brown (Very close contest)
  10. Cooper Brown
  11. Adam Davis
  12. Rhymen Tuilagi-Tusi or Luke Burrow
  13. Petelo Maka
  14. Isiah Wuruki
  15. Myles Rosemond
I think is out - James Tulikaki
Rhymen Tuilagi playing 8
Ruben Kruger under pressure from PJ however Kruger gets the chocolates as incumbent

Looks like we’ll find out on Saturday then, won’t we, T.U.G.? Gotta say, it’s shaping up to be a pretty intense trial match to kick things off. But considering TSS haven’t been too flash in their previous trials, I’m backing NC to take home the chocolates.
i have to agree. TSS were poor against a well drilled Downlands team last week. Nudgee should be even better after their 2 run outs against kiwi teams during the holiday break.

I've heard reports from Nudgee scouts and allegedly Levi Slater is weighing in at a monstrous 135KG and has a 6 pack. Unbelievable stuff!! Can anyone confirm this?
This is factually correct yes. Word on the street is that he's suiting up for war on Saturday, ready to turn Kingsley 'Type 2' Uys into shark fin soup. I hope the TSS lifeguards are on duty, cause things are about to get choppy.

Yes please
I believe this weekend will see Brisbane Grammar School, Ipswich Grammar, and Brisbane State High, battle it out in a three way trail round. Though I've heard that all teams are a large portion or seconds and u16 players so the results will not give true indication as to how the schools are shaping up for the season. The following weekend there will be another round robin taking place at Nudgee Colledge, with BBC and Brisbane Grammar. These matches should see more of a starting squad taking the field, so I hope to be able to catch those games.

Just playing around with a few boys right now position wise, more of a development side but will be keen to see how some of the young fellas play. 4-5 usual players sitting this one out just resting injuries. Keen to see how the boys in blue and gold go.

Mate Kingsley the absolute beast is going to put Levi "Stinky" Slater into the ground Kingsley is 132kg lean and is benching 190 says my son, Kingsley is the Australian prop so lets see him do a number on Stinky sausage Slater

Word from down south is that the TSS 10 worked with Nathan Cleary over the break, and is returning to GPS this season with a boom kicking game, could we be looking at the next product of Mike Wallace?

Look, Michael 'Steve' Beirne is absolutely one to watch this weekend. He’s big like accidentally-sits-on-you-and-you-die big. Some say he has Marfan’s, I say he has Marvel’s because the man’s built like a rejected Avenger.

His head? Astronomical. NASA’s considering it for satellite orbit. But somehow, his arms are even bigger. He didn’t just break the Bench Pull record, he bullied it into early retirement. They now call it the “Beirney Pull” out of respect… and fear.

Off the field? Thinks he’s a stand-up comic. Shame the only crowd he kills is himself. On the field? Laser-focused, unless he’s being emotionally KO’d by yet another journey through the friendzone, or busy testing out punchlines that land like a wet sock.
On the field? Locked in

But seriously he’s a good egg. A weapon when locked in. And probably the only bloke who could pull a sled, a teammate, and a heartbreak all at once.

Unsure where you’re getting your info from, T.U.G., but it sounds like you’ve been hypnotised by the mesmerising jiggle of Kingsley’s rolls as they ripple through his Thursday morning “training” like a soft-serve tsunami. I genuinely feel for you. You need help.

Nutter, why should you come at young Kingsley he's proved hymself again and again and still has old pigs at home like you praying against him. Kingsley will stand up tomorrow and show the difference between a representative prop of Australia a future product against a merely fat pig that goes by sluggish Slater. Tell Slater to have a salad for din tonight cause all he's going to feel is Kingsleys shoulder in his neck while scrumming.

Be wary, gentlemen it appears we have another one of the GT hoses spreading nonsense about other schools and only talking about their own. We dont want another repeat of the 2024 GAG incident.
-T42
T42,
I believe I was an original member when the 2024 GAG incident took place. I would sincerely regret to see the forum fall into tumult as it did. It displeases me all these terrace students infiltrating the forum, spreading lies, and corrupting what GAG rugby stands for. Members like this new guy Schmart footy, and other "Frank Rowers" might be GPS boys infiltrating. Go back to the books boys, and concentrate on raising your ATAR, while we can discuss real rugby.
On another note, I think @Schmartfooty360, that ACGS will be higher on the ladder, as I agree with QTT's point about their potential spine.
Cheers,
T.B

Tss are in for a long day if this is truely the bloke who broke the bench pull record. Actually heard rumours he’s on par with Bennet Armstrong in terms of lineouts.

Hey all, been a minute since I have been on this forum, what are everyone's picks looking for the weekends fixtures? Some fantastic games lined up with Nudgee and TSS and GT vs Churchie. Should be a great day out with clear skies forecasted for Saturday.
-MM
I just cant see TSS beating Nudgee this saturday, Levi slater is too powerful in the front for Kingsley Uys. Scored Prediction 25 - 7. Regarding the GT Churchie game, i think Churchie will come up on top. Scored prediction 21 -12.
