MAKE WALLABIES GREAT AGAIN!!
MAKE WALLABIES GREAT AGAIN!!
AS A CERTAIN PRESIDENT WOULD PUT IT…..”IT IS TIME TO DRAIN THE SWAMP IN NSW RUGBY UNION HQ AND MAKE THE WARATAHS GREAT AGAIN”!!
Could we possibly get an u15 table posted soon please?
Wow. CAS beat GPS. GPS get 8 in 16s schools and CAS 2? Waratah team not available so perhaps the CAS kids finished up there but I don’t believe it is selected yet? And I’m a GPS supporter.
love rugby rep selection…
Absolutely. Its bizarre how posters with no link to the school love to talk absolute nonsense isnt it.Absolute nonsense. There is no spite between scholars and fee paying players. Newington has strong team chemistry that fosters a culture of brotherhood. Nobody is alienated. As for the Riverview game, I was there and there were not 12 boys but closer to 50, and at Joeys New brought over 120 from Stanmore. Newingtons rugby culture is well and truly alive. Kings away crowd is regularly smaller then News.
I don’t think they look at those GPS games a whole lot in terms of selection. But I think there was definitely more than 2 worthy CAS players.Wow. CAS beat GPS. GPS get 8 in 16s schools and CAS 2? I think you'll find a number of those CAS boys are in the Sydney team.I don’t think they look at those GPS games a whole lot in terms of selection. But I think there was definitely more than 2 worthy CAS players.
Hannon & Minto are both year 10s. They played Presidents. Not sure how the selection process works here however Hannon, Minto & Talakai (CAS No.3) are not in either Schools team , thus I assume there is an express path.
3 of the Barker players got selected in Sydney (who had first pick over Schools this year).I think you'll find a number of those CAS boys are in the Sydney team.
Yes they have all been ushered through for some unknown reason. As an interested spectator on the weekend at Camden i was very interested to watch Holmes from Barker play as i had heard good things about him, however i was disappointed in what i saw, passes to the ground, box kicking out on the full. I understand they are only kids and they will make mistakes but i was surprised by the amount of mistakes he made. The Sydney Red team were challenged by both Country Black & Gold teams. I thought the Country Gold half back in jersey 21 was very impressive and outshone Holmes, good service, excellent kicking game, does anyone know who he is or what school he attends? The Country Black number 1 was a big strong unit as were Gold 6/8 & 16. Hopefully some of these Country boys get a chance to shine.3 of the Barker players got selected in Sydney (who had first pick over Schools this year).
Also, purely an educated guess (as no one else is ever told), but perhaps the following might have gone straight through to Waratah selection (and hence not in Schools 1, School 2 or Sydney)???
These players were all Waratah U15, but not in Schools 1, School 2 or Sydney.
GPS: Finn HANNON, Julian MINTO
CAS: Kaiasi Talakai (Wav), Jayden Richards (Barker), IJ Holmes (Barker)
