Ken Catchpole (46)
Finn Russell - 182cm, 87kg
Finn Smith - 178cm, 87kg
Marcus Smith - 175cm, 76kg
Noah Lolesio - 180cm, 89kg
Tom Lynagh - 178cm, 83kg
Ben Donaldson - 184cm, 84kg
JOC (James O'Connor) (James O'Connor) - 181kg, 93kg
Damian McKenzie - 177cm, 78kg
Richie Mo'unga - 176cm, 85kg
Beauden Barrett - 187cm, 91kg

Basically, we're splitting hairs here. Barrett a clear outlier.
I think Lynagh could do with adding a few kgs but he's 22 so it will certainly come with time. Obviously, not in time with this series.
He's got some strengths that will be suited for test football. His lack of size is being a bit exaggerated I feel.
It’s not the size itself that’s the issue. It’s the size combined with the lack of athleticism

He’s the least athletic player on that list by a considerable margin

The only surprise there for me is Robertson as reserve THP...

Harry Wilson retains the captaincy.
I’m quite pleased for Robertson. I think he’s played really well, especially against the Lions. Tizzano on the bench is a bigger surprise for me given two 80 min players in him and Fraser.

Little disappointed with no Pietsch, think he’s been the most consistently good winger in the last 12 months.

Valetini and Gleeson didn't pass fitness tests earlier in the week, but should both be good to go for the second test.

Skelton and Tupou apparently both overlooked.

That surprises me about Skelton. Less so for Tupou given form and conditioning and I’m one of his biggest supporters here.

It’s a very mobile team. Looks like they’ll be doing some running.

Slipper is also a surprise but given the combo with Allan I suppose it makes sense but then why not Pollard starting? Bell and Hooper will need to be ready to absolutely axe some cunce.

I sort of hate it. We lack carrying power and a seven on the bench for this kind of test seems completely pointless. I suppose I will just have to come to terms with Frost's continued selection but no Skelton is a double whammy.

Lynagh's first start with a scrum half he has never played with before. Yuck.

Lions by 30+.

It points to a plan built on speed in the last quarter. I'd say the play is to mix it up with McDermott's snipes and Donaldson's boot to get the Lions back in their territory and putting pressure on the breakdown, which they've hardly excelled at.

George Smith (75)
We've got Ben O'Keeffe this week...

If it all gets a bit "Kiwi'd" at the breakdown, and the Wobs can apply the same level of pressure the Brumbies did against the Lions it could get interesting.

Observation from the Brisbane CBD. All of the Lions players have been walking around by themselves or in groups of 2 or 3 of their countrymen this week.

If it were me I’d be going into rucks asking about their team mates middle names and favourite colours so as to mentally destabilise them and cause fractures within their playing group.

CDC, 7As (Allan Ala'alatoa) and Wilson are going to be doing a lot of carrying.

I think its a reasonable team considering our injuries but i agree, another 7 on the bench seems odd to me when hooper could cover it if we picked a straight lock with him instead of Tizzano
