I really think TSS is gonna dissapoint this year, Churchie played alright but it was nothing majorly better then there pre-season performances, I predicted a Chuchie win and they shouldve won, Poor fullback missed that kick, at the death. The draw between Churchie and TSS was a surprise.
Tks for that R but R
Hey Harry, managed to get to watch the Nudgee Vs State High game on the weekend and I'll tell you what, the Morree madness Ben Didonna, number 6 was absolutely clinical. Simply couldn't fault the kid. He ran with vigour and intensity and tackled with hatred and pure psychoticness, he was simply exceptional and will go under the radar the whole season as just a kid who goes pigging, but he is far more than that.Who was a surprise with how they played in round 1? The good the bad and ugly?
Hey Rugby Fanatic,Hey guys, who in your opinion had the performance of the week? It's a hard decision to make, as I cannot seem to single one out, as there were many stellar performances on. Would love to hear what you guys have to say.
Yes, Ben Didonna has been a standout for me ever since I heard about his underdog story into the first XV. Happy to hear that he's carried his form from last year into this season.Hey Rugby Fanatic,
Know I've already said this in a previous thread but I simply cannot get over Ben Didonna. Not only is he a classy player with a bright star studded future ahead of him, but he has got a great origin story to go along with it. Raised in the humble and quiet town of Moree he came to Nudgee seeking something bigger then himself, eventually finding himself in the 16Bs and then the next year being dropped from the firsts, only to get the call up with a few injuries and finish the season in stellar form. Not only does the kid hit like a truck but he has a lot going on upstairs, a very good footy brain on him which makes him a perfect edge forward, will be interesting to see how he matches up against some big boys in the coming weeks such as Tusi from TGS. My money is Ben Didonna will shut him down with his ferocity and firey defence as well as anticipation with his footy IQ. Like to hear what everyone else reckons.
BBFB
How did BBC lose when they had 7 Reds players ? Oh that's right Dan Leo was also Reds coach. He overlooked players previously selected like Jack Brown etc... for BBC boys. BBC were educated in every age division !TGS v BBC game for TGS Rhymen Tusi, Keegan Cook and Jack Brown best on the park for me, Myles Rosemond was solid and created opportunities, just needs to at times let the ball go early to his backs outside him.
Jack Randell was Grey O’Neil were solid for BBC
