ACT Brumbies 2026

Jack Maddocks would be a great get to bring home for any team, but has apaprently re-signed with Pau until 2027

Can't see when James Ramm's contract expires, but he is another one with top tier experience at fullback

Major Tom

Alan Cameron (40)
On the fullback question, I wonder if Angus Staniforth might be available and interested in coming back? Played a bit of 15 at underage level and always looked like a player who could step up to Super Rugby level.
Don’t feel like it’s much point though. He’s 20 so not sure he’d offer more than the academy guys anyways.

Uh huh

This would be a good time not to have just let Debreczini go, but of course nobody could've known we'd lose Wright for a year.

Jack is a good get for the Tahs, won't be surprised to see him start every game at 10.

How sure are we that Wright is out for next year's Supe?

The Ghost of Raelene

I reckon a very early return to play estimate could be Super Rugby Aus next year with a goal to be on the EOYT.

Once he's back to full play It'll be another 3 months before he gets his legs under him again. and Super Rugby 2027 should be unhindered/confident Wright. It is an injury though that all teams are use to rehabbing at least.

I've been wondering where Austin Anderson is during the SRAus competition? Surely, if fit and still in contention for a contract, he'd be in the squad, although I suppose it's possible he's playing in NZ. Anyone with the news?

On the makeup of the full squad for 26, I would think both Schoupp and Cale are likely to come to terms. Others who are currently without a contract for 26 like Thorn and Wilcox are probably playing for contracts in this first iteration of SRAus. Anderson is probably a likely retention too if he's playing in NZ. Andy Muirhead is a concern. A stalwart who is still playing at high level, but still unsigned and not in the SRAus squad.
