Utterly bizarre ref performance at the rucks. Every single ruck in existence someone is always "vaguely" kind of in from the side or vaguely not releasing immediately etc. It was like he didn't want any messy "contest" to take place so just blew them up immediately on the first thing he happened to think he saw.

Amazingly maddening the IRB persists with these inept dorks.

Yeah im not into ref bashing. But this bloke just hates running rugby.

That was a frustrating watch once again with the Italian Stallion holding the whistle.

Some crucial mistakes by the wobs cost us the game. Like not getting the ball into touch! Cant blame the ref for those...

How good is to see the Aussies being the dominant team physically, even without Valetini and Skelton.
LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) had a solid game coming into the team, finally!

Honestly? I think yes. While he had 3 or 4 kicking errors, I thought the rest of his game was solid. Given Donaldson hasn't been with the squad for a bit, it feels like it's between JOC (James O'Connor) and Edmed. I know which I'd prefer.

Yes. He did some good stuff... but his line kicking was pretty poor. Joe would not like that. I don't rate Edmed either. Donaldson still my pick to come through. At least he gets to play unlike Lynagh and Edmed.

Andrea Piardi is Italian, and his nationality is irrelevant. He's just a very poor ref and he once again ruined a game like he did in the 2nd Lions test. He should not be referring big games.

I appreciate the frustration with the referee and share it…

but someone at Ch9 needs to tell Turinui to pull his neck in. The ref whinging comes across as petulant and frankly, a bit unprofessional. It spoils the presentation of the match when one of your lead analysts can’t shut up about the referee. Don’t make them the story of the game.
