The time to upgrade has finally come, today I'll be switching the forums over to vBulletin, and upgrading the server as well. Will be a bit of downtime as the server upgrade goes through, about 10 minutes they reckon. I'll be doing this in 10 minutes or so..

Hey Moses,
All hunky doory for me on the new forum format but for the life of me I can't find a link back to the GAGR blog. Where might it be?
Thanks,

Working fine here in the sandpit, although I'm suffering from all the bulls supporters shouting the bar after the game.

I think the reset password link on the forum home page needs a quick look, think it's /vb/etc..etc.....where /vb should be /forum?

No smileys yet by the look of it?

Otherwise looks good Moses, nice work mate!

Also looks as all the Avatars and profile settings have disappeared - I assume you have to recreate them.

And thanks SandpitFan - deliberately stayed away from the main forums until I had seen the game.......:)

When re-uploading my picture, I get a message from the app saying the upload had failed - but it hadnt.

I had the usual issues whenever a forum goes vBulletin - but now OK.
Where did 500 odd posts go? Was a crap-o-meter installed that filtered them out?
I would put a smiley, but I only seem to have Quick Reply option which doesn't have them, as far as I can see. Wait a minute, yet another click, open another box and there they are. This is much easier to use...

Glad you've made it over, I'll start working through the issues now.

/vb/ was where I had the temp board, sorted that link now. Would also explain the issues cyclo had resetting his password.

I'll look at the smilies now.

Cheers guys, still working on putting the smileys into the quick reply, tis being a bitch.

I've just added a heap of new thread icons, and got them to show on the forum display page.
Also have your super 14 team showing after your post, would like to have it show your domestic, super and international team as smaller icons there eventually.

Well, if I understand it correctly, there will be a special part of the site for Wiki content, for example, the Australia's Troubador's thread can become Wiki items - players overseas, coaches, etc. We could even put our nicknames in a Wiki. It's a vault of rugby knowledge.
