Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

None, aren't all League players actually Union players anyway?

I mean, RL isn't played anywhere actually, it's a figment of our imagination right? So doesn't that mean that all League players, are actually Union players in the first place?

Well that's what Kovana told me, and as he is doing his level best to grow Rugby online, I see no reason not to believe him (even though he's fat and wears a dress).

Dear oh dear. We're lashing out at everybody today, friends, foes, and farkwits alike.

Very few of us take Special K seriously, Parra. Why do you?

Meanwhile, Canada and NZ Maori are playing in front of 20,000 this weekend in Toronto, televised by Fox Sports into the US. So I guess they know the name of the game. It's rugby, Parra. Plain, simple, rugby.

Lol. I would love some context for this post.

Cheers for the psychiatric assessment fellas.

%%%% this server is shit, could've seen 6 sets of six played out before the damn thing loaded, ie, 1 long penalty attempt from the running game.

Anyway got to go, my hyperactivity meds need updating and the real Rugby World Cup doesn't have any games on tonight cause even supermen need one day off a week so I'll have to find something else fast to calm my exuberant nerves.

Tallyho!

I will tell you some league players who couldn't make the switch.... Nearly everyone of those starting in the Parramatta Eels in 2013, heck that bunch of wasters couldn't even make a Shute Shield team

I'd say everyone from the Eels this year. Wouldn't even use Rick Stuart for tackle bag drills. Fuifui Moimoi might make an OK weight for the Scrum Machine if you leave a bucket of KFC on the machine for him.

Even Jarryd Hayne can't remember when he last played a good game.
Hayne crapped all over folau from a great height whent hey were both playing league, since then hayne has been injured but played brilliantly in origin 1 this year.

Folau has been a mercenary.

I think we all know which one would make the better rugby player and his name isn't folau.

Also Joseph Paulo is a gun, im not sure where you would play him in union because he may not be quick enough to be a back and his ball skills and game reading really doesn't translate to what union forwards do.

So you're a Parramatta fan then?

To suggest Hayne "crapped all over" Folau is laughable.

Hayne played great for about 7-8 weeks in 2009. And that's about it for him. Folau achieved far more in the code.

I thought that Gene Miles would have made a pretty decent seagulling style no. 6.

in rugby league I follow the raiders.

I had great joy seeing joel thompson run around hayne a couple of years ago.

That said, folau in league was a very strong finisher and very strong runner in a straight line.

However, his footwork (which has since improved), lateral movement and ball skills were non existant, he is also made questionable decisions in defence.

Whether you like hayne or not he was way above folau when they were playing league and is still above him now. I didn't just say he crapped all over him, remember the crapping occured at a great height which I stand by.

Back when the AFL were cherry picking for players I would have gone for inglis and marshall. Not hunt and folau.

Yes Folau won more jewellery, but fair dinkum Robert Horry won a stack more then Charles Barkley and he isn't fit to tie sir charles' shoelaces.

any mug poster here (including you or i) could have been on the storms 10 million dollar backline or in one of QLDs super teams and won jewellery.

Which reports?

The Tele?
I tend to read the smh online, is free and loads with reasonable speed.

also pretty good sport coverage, imo the tele though it does a lot of content about league alot of it is dissing league nowadays, so if dissing league is what you are after, the tele might be a paper for you.
