Any Team List for Samoa?
If they are to usual form, I would expect about 4 or 5 players who are Australian based, and some of these could even have been seen in the National U20 competition in Canberra recently.

My snout says you may have hit the nail on the head. Lots of dropped ball in the first half - a couple over the try line!! Samoan try from Aus knock on and Samoa carried through. Second half Aus held the ball a lot better - no real fancy stuff - backs nipping over the line. 6 out of 8 on the bench got a run.

The ARU Media Unit states that “the squad will continue training at Bond University with two upcoming matches scheduled against the Samoan Under 20s side as the race to make the final squad continues” (see http://www.rugby.com.au/News/NewsArticle/tabid/1699/ArticleID/11374/National-Under-20s-intensify-preparation-for-IRB-Junior-World-Championships.aspx), and today’s article states Australian Under 20s coach Adrian Thompson said “individual performances in the upcoming clash against Samoa would be critical in finalising his squad” (see http://www.rugby.com.au/News/NewsArticle/tabid/1699/ArticleID/11417/ARU-names-National-Under-20s-side-to-take-on-Samoa-today.aspx).
Yet the IRB has the 28-man Australian under-20 squad already listed (see http://www.irb.com/jwc/teams/team=4162/index.html)
Perhaps there is a requirement to provide a squad list, but the ARU is able to amend it before the tournament. So, perhaps with a grain of salt, here is the current Australian squad as listed by the IRB.

Killed them in both. Samoa apparently did not do well. Australia lost all the ball due to knock ons. There were two locks the size of Cameron Skeleton - over 2 metres high and and about 135 kgs.
There weren't many substitutions until about 20 minutes into the 2nd half. By then the damage was done with 3 quick tries, and the game went a little quiet again. It finished with a flourish though in the last 5 minutes.

AUSTRALIAN UNDER 20s ACHIEVE FIRST WIN OF 2014
The Australian Under 20s have got their 2014 campaign off to a winning start with a convincing 34-5 victory over the Samoa Under 20s at Bond University on the Gold Coast on Wednesday.
The impressive five tries to one defeat was the perfect start for a two-game series against Samoa, with their second contest to be played on Saturday at Somerset College (kickoff 1:00pm).
There were a number of strong individual performances which bodes well with coach Adrian Thompson to finalise his squad for the IRB Junior World Championships to be finalised following the series against Samoa.
New South Wales winger Sasa Tofilau was instrumental for the Australia, scoring two tries, while centre Lalakai Foketi and winger Brad Lacey also grabbed five-pointers during an impressive second half.
Western Australian centre and vice-captain Luke Burton added a further nine points through three conversions and one penalty.
“I was very impressed with our efforts at the back end of the match and our ability to finish off a tough game,” Thompson said.
“There was obviously a few things from the first half that we will continue to look at as some errors did prevent us from continuing to attack Samoa.
“I was impressed with the way we reacted to a bad first half, and it showed the spirit of the squad to come back and achieve a win today.
“It was the ideal start to our 2014 campaign and I look forward to continuing to grow this squad when we play Samoa again on Saturday.”
In an intense first half, Australia dominated territory and had the majority of possession, however key errors cost Australia the ability to maintain momentum and turn their advantage into points.
It was a tough opening half and Australia only went into the break ahead 5-3.
It was a different story in the second half as Australia was able to limit their errors and exercise dominance in territory and possession, adding another 31 points to their tally.

I've tried again and again and I can't rewrite this so that it makes sense, but I know they wanted to express that the squad for the JWC will be finalised after the next game v Samoa; I've put it somewhere else.
Was he really instrumental? Or did he simply score two tries? And I can't help but think this paragraph should go after the one below.
