Frustrating to hear at times with school rugby. I understand how it fits in with the landscape of rugby over here but the ARU if their serious of filtering school/ club through this to identify its talent across all spectrums of rugby played here then they need to stand up and take the bull by the horns and say this is the pathway but to my dismay schools seem to repel or cotton wool players for what benefit 8 games a year. I believe in all forms rugby played here as I've seen talent from school and club systems just wish attitudes would change so rugby here would better than being 4 th in the world. Sorry rant over, look forward to seeing the Un15s purple as I think they've named themselves the PACK. Feb 14 can't come quick enough for this comp to kick off as I believe it will showcase the talent Australia as a collective do have coming through . Good luck to all respective supporters and their teams this year

Saw U15 Purple play on Sunday, your right, good pack right through to the bench.
We're a little messy, blew a couple of tries but I belive it was their first hit out.
One thing for sure they defended well as Sunny Coast created plenty of opportunities.
Also heard Logan U15's were on fire and probably have the biggest pack in U15's
Should be a good game when they play Gold Coast this weekend.

This weekend will go along way to deciding group D (hard to believe being the 2nd week.). Gold Coast can put themselves in the box seat if they can knock over Logan and Orange this weekend. Some humdinger games down at Bond Uni.
Although I'm sure WA will have something to say about it during their 5 game whirlwind tour in weeks 4 and 5.

Logan vs Gold Coast has been delayed to next Friday night same kick off times
Due to weather forecast for weekend. Totally agree will shape how this group finishes up at the end

Well I'm eating my smart arse words...:D
They'll be playing underwater hockey on the fields if they were playing.
Which brings me to a question are they going to postpone or cancel this weeks games for groups C and D. If they are cancelled, North Queensland will end up playing only one game for the JGC.

Gold Coast v Brisbane Orange is going ahead (at this stage) on Sunday, but has been moved from Bond Uni to Casuarina

Far as I know, all games in Qld were canceled for Saturday. Not sure if there are any games today?
Poor NQ, no games so far, rained out two weeks in a row.
Their going to have a tough schedule to make a the 3 games they have missed.

Gold Coast v Bris Orange at Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast v NQ at Noosa are the scheduled games, does anyone know if they are going ahead?

I think NQ has gone home. Which means NQ has only one game possible against Pink next week.@ sunny, the schedule is so tight and the distance factor, I don't see them playing any other games

Northern inland lost both 15s and 17s to sydney northwest. Sydney west 15s come from behind to beat Western nsw by 8

Sydney North beat both Western NSW teams on Saturday at Forshaw. The 15s won in a landslide. The 17s won 22-10. It was closer than that on the field, though. Western got a case of the dropsies and messed up some opportunities that would make it closer.

Today, at TG Milner, Sydney West beat both Western teams. Western 15s were in front until Sydney West came back late to win. The Western 17s couldn't match it physically with SW and the score ended up a lot to not many. The 2.5 hour wait to play didn't help them, but I don't think it would have made nearly that much difference.

Gold Coast got up over Brisbane Orange in both 15s and 17s.
The weather dampened what may have been a real contest with Gold Coast size wearing down the Orange sides.
The Gold Coast vs Logan fixtures is shaping to be a real cracker at Bond Uni this Friday night. Will go a long way in deciding Pool D. I hope the appropriate ref appointments are put in place so it doesn't ruin what will possibly be Top table clashes

can somebody please give me a review of the South Harbour V Northern Inland 15's

South Harbour travelled up to ACT last week and came away pretty broken down losing their captain and in my eyes best player with a broken arm. I thought that South Harbour looked strong through the forwards against Northern Inland and hit the ball up hard of the 10. They messed up a few oppurtunities early and against a better side would have been punished. The end score was again a lot to a little like many of the games so far but I do think that Northern Inland played with a lot of heart and South Harbour really hasn't been producing the goods which they had last year.

Hi all. Bar TV filmed and commentated two of the U17s games yesterday. The Sydney North West v Northern Inland game is up now. I assume the other will go up today.
