Reports suggest he's way ahead of schedule.

I reckon he'll be captaining the Springboks at the RWC.

Indeed, he might be able to run etc., but it'll be seriously hard to get enough proper gametime to become legitimately worthy of starting, and at the same time not let him play too much too soon.

Anoter Pacific Islands side that has a strong squad.Fiji have firepower out wide and some explosive, hard running backrowers/locks, however they are really weak in the front row.

On a side note, how good for Kirwin Sanday to be included in this squad. Sanday is arguably the form tighthead in the Brisbane competition for Easts. Regardless it is massive for him to be in a squad filled with predominatnly European contracted players.

Regardless of what you think, losing Davies is a crushing blow for Wales. He's impossible for them to replace. It's akin to us losing Folau.

Eh, plenty of people have been pushing for Williams to start getting more time in the centers. Jiffy Jr. was a huge part of their system a few years ago (primarily because he was the assigned "shooter" on defense a lot of the time) but he hasn't been up to his old standards for a bit.

anscombe for 10?

Will be interesting to see if he gets into the final squad and gets a game or two. If he could reproduce his form from the U20s, he'd be a shoe-in imo. Pity he didn't kick on in NZ like Cane, Shields, Barrett, Retallick et al. In retrospect, just how great was that NZ side.
