The Tahs got to where they did on the back of Potgieter's contributions. He would have made a pretty handy Wobb, had he been available.

The only thread operating on Christmas Day. Passion and support always a foundation of the SS.:)

Interesting Tweet from David Campese overnight:

"2 of the best rugby countries in the world are having problems because of the boards. The game is about club rugby and the fans! Big problem"

Wonder which countries he was referring to?

try explaining the state of oz rugby and the basis of the Shute shield fight with the ARU - throw in the SS's responsibility for NRC - to your semi-rugby-engaged other half. I did it last night and it only made me more depressed.

Maybe you should be asking what year is he referring to, because like his mates Campo is stuck in the past............

Australian Rugby was doing OK in the past.....2 World Cups, Bledisloe Cup, Rugby Championship, big crowds at SS games, Super Rugby titles ;)

Nah, his Twitter is a barrage of ill-thought out ramblings from a crazy old man out of touch with reality............

Also "many moons" ago in the deep dark past - probably early last year ;) I made a comment about finishing the SS season early was detrimental to those young players who just want to play rugby.

At the time I said that perhaps they can go back to their old "local" club and play the last few games of their competition.

Well the Central Coast Rugby Union has blown that one out of the water by banning any SS players for coming back to play for the old local club. Apparently it is unfair and could potentially put one of the top clubs out of the semis.

Where do the young players go now for a game of Rugby on a Saturday ??????
There are no central coast kids playing SS
