Love watching Aaron Smith cheering on his pack in the scrums and shouting "Break!" the moment the ball is out the opposition side.

Quality player in every aspect.

Live by the maul, die by the maul.

Tough game that one.

Yeah, he's pretty good majority of the time. Got caught out a few times tonight but he's held to a high standard. That pass is worth it's weight in gold though.

you could say he was tackling from the ground though, not that they ever call that anymore.

Yeah, perhaps. Was a shit tackle really.

I love the way he abuses opposition players and the ref. Great player but a classless twat.

Aaron Smith is the best halfback in the world by a long way

FFS this is the best "scintillating attack" that the Australian backs coach can come up with? Pass it to static forwards all night when in the opposition 22 and driving maul and more mauls. Want to look at why Australian Rugby no longer rates watch the Brumbies kick and maul games, the Rebels go home at half time and the Tahs drop the ball and pass the ball behind players.

I got bored halfway through this and started doing my BAS. Something has to be real bad to make BAS look interesting.

Landers ruckball security a shocker. Fardy fucking everyone’s shit up brilliantly in there.

Fitting end as the Bumbreeze bored another rolling maul along from 5m out, oops, turnover. The ONE thing they can do and they fucked it up.

Great game to watch in terms of a good contest but gees it would be good if Oz sides could close out the close games more on the right side of the ledger.

Brumbies are definitely the best of the Oz Conference though as you always at least feel they are a chance to win with the way they are playing. Totally underestimated their roster as thought it was a weak roster and they would struggle this season, or maybe just underestimated how good the Brumbies coaching staff are to get the best out of their cattle.

Brumbies really deserved to lose that. They were so passive and let the highlanders get on top of them. There's no point having a big strong pack if your not going to through your weight around and bash them up a bit. We let them win. Bunch of losers.

Does Goodwin do anything? Useless. drop him please.

Godwin and his chip kicks, ffs. Needs to use his size and look to get the Brumbies going forward on the first phase then play the ball without hesitation in his follow up involvements.
That last kick by Hawera was 2 metres to far out, made it just a little bit more difficult for the maul. Would of had it then i thought.

U brumbies fans will quickly get pissed off with Godwin like we did as force fans, so much potential and then wastes it with these stupid grubbers and chips etc

Fainga'a didn't help either, drops the ball at a crucial time and then let's himself get stuck in the maul to lose the game

It was the Brumbies to lose. Godwins charged down kicks and Powells loose play at the base cost the home side dearly and handed momentum(and the lead) back to the Highlanders.
Agree on Fainga'a.

What is the rule on having both feet outside the field of play and catching the ball before it crosses the sideline? I always thought it was out on the full but there was a call against the Brumbies that cost plenty metres.
