BSHS #2 Nesta should NEVER have gone back on . He was knocked out and imo was heavily concussed. managers, and trainers must be firmer in making the hard call. He came back off after 10 minutes going back in. He was groggy and complained of dizziness. I was absolutely annoyed at him being allowed back on. If professional level rugby are taking concussion issues seriously, it should be mandatory at school level to protect kids who would Not know whats best in those circumstances. If that was my child I would not hesitate going down and inform ing management not to put him back on after such a serious knock. B\
BSHS # 12 (was at the game yesterday) had a serious kneck brace suffered last week but was allowed to play on after being injured in the first half. Its a NO brainer schools rugby management have a duty of care to protect kids at all cost. Even referees should be given authority to have a concussion card lol.
Apparently Mahina past a concussion test with the Ambo.

Round 8 prediction
TSS over Nudgee by 5. This game is set to be a cracker played in front of a huge crowd. Nudgee has just had too many close games this season for them to get the win over the TSS boys. I feel that TSS have been really dominant in all games except for one.
BSHS over BGS by 10. BSHS have really started to hit some form after a poor start to the season. They are starting to understand the new coaching method and are working well together. Although BGS came off a strong win against GT I think BSHS forward pack will dominate too much.
ACGS defeated by BBC 20 point win. Another up and down season for Churchie when the boys had a chance to go 3-0 early in the season, but they haven't been hitting any form of recent. BBC will be to big and strong and run over the top.
GT over TGS by 14. After TGS loosing to the most inconsistent side in the comp and GT loosing to grammar I think the GT boys will be the boys that bounce back the best after their defeat.

Any highlights of BBC v BSHS 15 A game . ? Closer than I anticipated .
Yes Countryjack... I'm slowly working on it and as usual it will be a BBC Highlights reel.

I didn't expect anything less than a very tough and passionate BSHS team who appeared to be back at full strength for the first time this season. Happy for someone to correct me on that. They came out firing and were extremely physical in defense and scored a great opening try.

But BBC had most of the possession from there and had to work really hard for territory and results. So I'm happy to see hard games and the boys have been able to meet the challenge. Full credit to BSHS, they'll be hard to beat from here. They have BGS and Nudgee to come.

I hear the Nudgee 15A's will be quietly waiting for them

You seem rather cocky for a dream team ( with their own highliight reel)that only got up over NC in the last seconds.
And of course the boy who scored the try ( and was the difference ) was originally coming to Nudgee.
We will see how the 16 A s go next year.Hopefull we will have contested scrums.

Terrace 3rd XV vs TGS 3rd XV this weekend should be a cracker. Both teams yet to lose. Winner takes the premiership.

Interested to see how GT go against TGS in the main game on Saturday too. Predicting a 12 point win to the home side, although TGS could come out on top.

Terrace 3rd XV will not loose.
Incredible depth

I have to agree George, the GT 3rds showed their strength in round 1 against our Nudgee outfit on Ross Oval with a 20-0 victory. Their defence was unbreakable and their attacking flair was a true testament to their ability.
They should be able to claim an opens premiership this weekend against TGS. Last GT 3rds premiership being in 2003.

Interesting proposal Kev. I've seen my fair share of football, and 3rds rugby is up there with the most fluent I've visualized. There are aspects of their game that is simply sharp. I have to send my recognition for their coaches. Bringing a team up through the ranks to possibly having an undefeated season in opens football is the pinnacle of GPS rugby. I reckon they could challenge the 2nd XV. Haha.

Regards, Senior MD.

Jeez, if the 3rd 15 players posting all of the above spent more time training and less time trolling.......
