Japan played well for patches but their lack of size from jerseys 4-8 and 11-15 was cruelly exposed. That said, I don't recall Kotaro Matsushima ever being that slippery. Wallabies struggled to put him on the ground time after time.

Cully was at school in 92 as I played against him that year, and I remember him making NZ schools in 1993. Think he played a year for Horowhenua in 1994 before going to Manawatu the next year if my memory serves me correctly.
