Ah yes, that's right Pasitoa. I really think he's a much better prospect longer-mid term to the Brumbies' present number 10 albeit he is a bit younger and less experienced. I'd love to see a bit of O'Connor and Flooky v Pasitoa on Saturday.

Who are the 5 Nudgee Old Boys? I know: James O'Connor (Captain.sorry Churchie.) Josh Flook Alex Mafi Dane Zander Not sure who the 5th is? Possibly someone in the Brumbies? Well done to BBC, TSS, Terrace, State High, Ippy (?), Grammar, Churchie, Toowoomba who also are supplying some.

I was hoping to catch some TSS fish with my baited hook, but I haven't landed anything yet. I didn't realise that there is this animosity between BBC and Churchie, but now I know this, I do look forward to the match up. I guess Grammar kind of fell off the hill as a rival for Churchie since.

It might be hard for Churchie to jell in the early part of the season if there are so many new players, but they might do well a few games into the season if they have such strong new recruits. So, their success might be dependent on who they play in the first half of the season. TSS replicate.

Lynagh was a great fly-half but his place kicking did let him down during crucial moments e.g. the 1991 RWC. Did he actually play at fly-half when he was at Terrace or in the middle? Was he place kicking for Terrace? They must have had a great set of players as they did put 5 Premierships in a.

I agree that there was no shame at all as Lastas also had a great game (and season) but I think in a couple of vital situations Howarth slightly edged him out due to his power game and understanding of the moment. I really enjoyed this match up actually and I thought whoever gets on top there.

I thought Lastas Aulaki was great against weaker back lines last season but he was clearly outplayed by Howarth when they matched up. The try just before half time by Howarth changed the game, and it was Lastas who was outplayed in that try. I think BBC will miss Howarth immensely this year. I.

The Red, this is exactly my experience. I always comment on the anti-BBC stories and they always reject my comments supporting BBC as they don't want anyone to interrupt the narrative. I was also wondering why she keeps writing stories like Terrace is Harvard University or something and it is.

It looks like the CM journo is running another anti-BBC again. I assume the pro-Terrace marketing story will come out the next day, which is how they seem to roll there. It's amazing how transparent they are in their campaigns, both as the Terrace cheerleader and as the BBC executioner, given.

I haven’t heard much about the fly-halves this year. Any intel anyone in this area? Any stars to talk of?

Ah Terrace. Some rugby greats to come out of there incl my uncle who played fly half for the Reds back on the 60s. I used to love playing against my diametrically opposing colours, and the game was always played with great respect and good manners. The games against Churchie and Grammar on.

Yes, this journalist has skin in the game at Terrace and All Hallows and is always writing that these two schools are the top two schools in the state, and constantly downs BBC and Churchie and never has anything positive to say about Nudgee. Pretty poor to be honest and she's written another.

Okay, we got the annual scholarships are bad/good chat done and dusted early this year so we can now get down to the rugby chat. I'm not hearing much about TSS but I can only assume they must be one of the favorites also this year albeit not as strong as the last few years.

I couldn't agree more and there really does seem to be some sort of weird hit squad out on BBC at the moment at the CM. Bring on the Halley Appleby Cup!

An excerpt from the CM today re BBC. "The prestigious Brisbane Boys’ College is in danger of being turned into a “rugby academy” as influential old boys lobby for a significant increase in sporting scholarships. A disgruntled staff member has written to The Courier-Mail outlining a number of.
