    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

In other words, you have no proof! So are you saying that there is a list of Rugby scholarships printed in blue and white on the website? I don't think so. Are you familiar with the Yallari program? Maybe investigate what that is before you start throwing mud. I can easily list all of the...

I don't think he was because that is actually against GPS byelaws - Coaches are required to be in the technical area on the sideline. They are not allowed to take up a position away from this - although having said that lots of coaches seem to ignore it and stand on the deadball line...

    NTS/Gold Squads

JGS happens on weekends so Joeys boys can attend... NGS happens during the week so generally they are not allowed to go. From what i am told Brth Boyd is fairly anti the NGS.

They wear their respective away kits - Knox play in Black at Cbrook and Brook play in red when they travel up the highway.

GPS 2012 rugby competition is to take place totally in Term 3 - meaning yes that rep sides will be picked solely from trial observations. Doesn't bode well, seeing how wrong they have got it the last couple of years with more games to watch! The only good thing about it is that the comp will run...

Ahem..... have a look here http://austschools.rugbynet.com.au/default.asp?id=186098 for the revised group for the NZ fixtures... Seems like someone involved with the schoolboys set up finally realised that you need props who can scrummage rather than props who are ball players. At least they...

I must have been watching a different game to you, or maybe i just didn't have the same benefit of the Stanmore tinted black and white glasses that you did. I'm not going to bag the bloke but lets just say that there were a lot of line breaks made in his defensive channel... I think he was...

At least you admitted it :-) Joeys are on the slide in general. Have a look at their results over the past decade - i don't know and i'm sure a Joeys anorak will correct me or come up with the stats - but has the last 10 years been one of their leanest periods in history in terms of 1st XV...

Dear Joey2012 - sorry i have upset you with my forthright comments. In case you hadn't noticed this is a public forum... where people post their thoughts and opinions. The whole idea is that you can write and say what you want. I quite enjoy winding people up - but generally i write what i...

You're dreaming Knight. Scots backrow were good but i think a bit of an overstatement above. On the 4 or 5 occassions i saw them play they were good when the going was easy... But what happened when they came up against a decent forward pack - i.e. View? They all went missing. Miller gave away 3...

Lee - again being careful not to mention the "s" word, but if enough "new" players decide to go to a school, it stands to reason that their 2nd team will also get much stronger. I think the reason the difference between 1s and 2s was less this year than in previous is largely due to the bigger...
