IGS 168 285* -117* 0 Losing 8 games by a total margin of 17 would have been a pretty unlucky season for Ippy aha.

Congratulations to Churchie for the second year in a row. Whatever team culture was built by Jason Gilmore last year has definitely stuck around with this year's team, however I think a lot comes down to what was built in the younger age groups too. 10, 12, 13, 15 may have only joined the school...

    I'm pretty sure he's in Year 12

Quigley is too old for U16's im pretty sure. Like Ippylad said before I would expect to see the likes of Laxon, McNamee and Green, along with Sitanilei and Fowler, in the Qld U16 lineups, however they are arranged (Red, white i.e.)

Tanuvasa played an excellent game but I would pick Ioane as the standout in Churchie's backline. Strong running and solid defense set up and saved tries for Churchie.

I'd guess Mafi would get a run out there as Hooker, while I think Lelesiuao and Rodwell might fill in those gaps in 3 and 7 in your team there. Not sure about Fordyce, but Brennan might be given a run at second row

I'd have to agree with this prediction, sums up each contest pretty well, however, I would tip Villa over Ioan, solely due to their hard working, unified forward pack. Should they dominate the slow ball, and stay strong in defense, then the backs should be able to work with space and convert...

    Reds 2013

Schatz will be capable of filling some of the void left by Higginbotham, but I definitely don't think that Quirk will come close to having the same influence on the game as Higginbotham does. A fairly big loss, but the Reds should be able to cope if they make the right decisions in signing some...

I think that your prediction of a heavily changing backline should be spot on this weekend, as the coaches look to test out several utility players in their best positions. Whoever plays where, it should be a great curtain raiser to a a hopefully Reds dominant game.

I would have to disagree there Light. I think Churchie will go out there looking to make an impression. There has been a lot of talk about them, and they will be looking to play their best rugby on such an open stage. That being said, I don't think that they will be showing off all of their...

Big trial this weekend with a curtain raiser before the Lions game at Suncorp between Churchie, Nudgee and TSS. Predictions?

Hard to say with a improving BGS team against a significantly weaker BSHS team than last year. I'd say Grammar by 3 in a close game. I'd predict a Grammar 16A win as well

TGS should definitely not be overlooked this year, having around 11 (i think) Year 11 players making up their 1st XV last year, which will add plenty of experience to their pack this year.

There have definitely been some coaches around at some of the games, although I would be surprised if any of the players made a shift for their final year. I don't think that the season change would have an impact, as I wouldn't expect any players to shift midyear. Overall I don't think any...
