I anticipate many local sponsors will just walk away - the NRC is meaningless. Funds raised through the efforts of long standing volunteers in SS clubs just redirected away from the community they believe in to elites ie; NRC . Spivs , player managers , imported self serving careerists...

Yeah on reflection while intended as nod to grass roots vs the corporation maybe a bit to quick to jump into Intruders post re Uni back training in 2 weeks and hungry ! but a bit of saturation bombing of Camperdown doesn't hurt :-)

When was the last time Uni were hungry ?! Woodies bashing everybody at back end of season was hungry . Compare and contrast reaction of Manly 2's on winning GF vs Uni 3's (outwardly at least) ho hum on winning theirs to see hunger on display. Rats over achieved this year because of theirs.......

The mail is the new coaching set up for the Marlins as opposed to a straight replacement of Blakey will be announced at the presentation night on Friday.

The team name seems to be rapidly becoming THE MACQUARIE UNI (North Harbour) RAYS . Just a thought.....
