    COVID-19 Stuff Here

Sure, but the reality is we would have needed 12 Howard Springs to deal with the number of arrivals at most points (and that number was still pitifully low). Then deal with staffing those in remote/regional areas and the risks associated with moving those workers in and out etc. In hindsight...

Tizzano is just there as Michael Hooper's blood boy to keep him young.

    COVID-19 Stuff Here

Sure, but look at the number of people who went through there relative to everywhere else. Howard Springs could cater for about 1,000 arrivals a week and NSW was doing 6,000 on its own.

    COVID-19 Stuff Here

This is a popular method of greeting in Queensland.

    COVID-19 Stuff Here

That also wasn't their peak. Hopefully the 2200s are as high as it goes. For all the criticism of NSW's lockdown not being harsh enough to control cases, it seems like exhaustion with restrictions is a driving force behind Victoria's outbreak being worse again.

    COVID-19 Stuff Here

There's zero chance she's going to open borders to NSW, Victoria or the ACT anytime soon. I'm not sure what the point of waiting would be. Qld, WA, SA, Tas etc. are either going to need to have an outbreak they can't contain or abandon COVID zero which probably wouldn't be politically popular...

    Refereeing decisions

If you punt the ball over the goal posts you don't get three points but if you drop kick it you do. I don't think it is crazy to treat it going dead differently as well. I also don't think we need to be encouraging more scrums, particularly mostly from areas on the field where the team with...

    Refereeing decisions

I'm not sure if this was aimed at me but I wasn't addressing that. I have no issue with the current laws. If the missed drop goal goes dead it's a 22 and if it doesn't, you can place it for another goal line drop out or kick for touch etc. I'm not big on adding another option for a scrum when...

    COVID-19 Stuff Here

Not that I'm planning to go overseas until maybe the middle of next year but this is great.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Overseas tests don't have to be on FTA if no one buys them. I think BJ is mostly talking about the tests not involving the Wallabies though. It seems like all the Wallabies tests will be on 9/Stan.

    Refereeing decisions

I don't see this as being a bad thing. I like the goal line dropout law. It gives the defending team a reward for holding a player up in goal (which you should get rewarded for in my view) and discourages players from touching the ball down in goal unless they are under pressure (keeps the...

    Waratahs 2022

Joey Walton has torn his ACL at training which is a massive shame. Hopefully he has a good recovery and can play later in the season next year.

    Wallabies 2021

One of the many peanuts who regularly comment on the front page that don't venture onto the forums because their rubbish wouldn't last a week.

    Wallabies 2021

It's only the Japan game that is outside the international window. They have to release the players for the 3 European tests if asked under regulation 9.

    Waratahs 2022

To be fair, he was probably only a bench player at Saracens because they were breaching the salary cap by millions and had half the England team on contract.
