You're allowed to contest the ball in the air. Players are allowed to make contact in the air as long as they are in a realistic position to contest and aren't intentionally taking an opposition player out.
What happened to Swain because of the contact is inconsequential, just as it was when...
Shouldn't have been a card or a penalty. Fair contest in the air. Potter was in a realistic position to hit the ball back, and only had eyes for the ball. That's why the review took 10 seconds.
That and the obstruction call were the turning points of the game.

Tickets not on sale until very late in the week would definitely have been a factor. Next week will be a better gauge, although the performances from the force and rebels this week certainly won't have helped

Ollie Hoskins would be a great get for both the Force and potentially the Wallabies.
A locking duo of Rodda and Coleman would also be world class.
A good headline result, with a great deal thanks to Twiggy Forrest giving RA a largely free carried team in super rugby and allowing them to get an extra 25% broadcast revenue for having that extra team in the comp.

If that's the case, then the 2 TMO's should be immediately sacked or severely reprimanded as they are clearly incompetent. As this doesn't appear to have happened, Cron's statement is quite reasonable.
Checking for foul play is one of only 2 or 3 main functions of the TMO's job, and fair enough...
