The Shore 15A's are still playing but will play ad-hoc games as and when they can be organised. They played Cranbrook because Cranbrook A's did not want to play Trinity for reasons similar to why Shore wouldn't play Newington. I was told at the ground that Trinity played Newington A's although I...

You only need to stroll down the sidelines at Northbridge to find plenty of criticism of Dr Wright. No, he doesn't coach the teams. He does however dictate the intake policy as well as resource allocation. The school is being left behind compared to other schools on talent identification (yes...

Update: it looks like "withdrawn" now means withdrawn completely. A decision was made on Friday and communicated to the boys. They're looking for alternative fixtures. A real shame.

It's no euphemism. The Shore 15A's have withdrawn. There are 2 or 3 of the 15B's who have played in the A's for the last two games due to injury who will return to the B's but it will not be the Shore A team running out on Saturday against Kings B's. Shore 15A's will play against Riverview...

I can confirm that the school gave him a week and the GPS powers that be gave him a week resulting in two weeks total.

    2018 schools rowing

All I can say is that whatever happened in the past hasn't clouded the Y9 boys judgment of the other crews, in fact I don't think they are even aware of it from what I have observed. I can't comment on the other years. The results for the Y9 Joeys crews were very good and they deserved the...

    2018 schools rowing

The 2016/2017 Year 9 crews at Joeys were really good and improved a great deal in the space of 12 months. A lot can happen between now and Year 11/12 however there is a lot of potential to work with at Joeys in Yr 9. I know they had a lot of respect from the Shore crews.

    2017 Schools Rowing

Scotch rowed really well, very controlled race. Not sure if anyone noticed but there were some significant changes to the Shore boats again this weekend. Seems to have affected the 2nd boat most because they were well off the pace compared to HOTR and their training efforts where the boats have...
