Much can be said about the TSS v BBC game but to sum it up BBC played a shocker. BBC: i. no structure in the first half ii. most forwards didn't clean out effectively (ie driving past the ball) which meant too many needed at the break down. iii. scrum obviously out-pushed by TSS iv. terrible at...

BBC should get the upper hand in the scrums: perhaps TSS in the backs. My 'two bob' is the game will go to the team that wins the breakdown, which should be BBC.

I must admit it did look suspicious sending Luka on in the second half- he only face two scrums against a tiring Petersen and was lifted in one and pushed back in another- both before Peterson came off. It was disappointing the selectors sheltered their GPS 1 front row from, what looked to me to...

At one stage BBC v Nudgee, the Nudgee 1 & 2 were lifted off their feet and driven onto their backs- against the feed. At least two other occasions the BBC tight head split the Nudgee front row.

Wasn't it 2 tries-0 and they had a yellow card + ran subs on after 20 mins.

Word from the Grammar v College trail is that it was a miss-match. BBC started pulling many of their starters early after the first few tries.... College made almost as many meters in defense as they did in attack. College scrum should have been awarded a number of penalties after Grammar kept...

"the whole front row will be under 16" what about Kahn and Peterson?

There must be some good talent in the AIC but it's really hard to tell until they mark-up against players of similar skill. The QLD Championships will give them that opportunity.

TSS are going to have a game on their hands Round 1, I know there are some BBC boys from the Gold Coast who have a particular interest in playing TSS .... going back to South Coast Schools u15 2011.

The goss' is that Bronson is doing a Yr 13- but it's probably not a good assumption that he'd be captain automatically. There's heaps of experience in the 2014 BBC side.

More likely to see Tuakipulu at 1 or 2, with conditions on grade levels. So, BBC has 7 out of 8 of 2013's first choice forwards returning for 2014! Plus most of their reserve bench. One of the top packs in 2013 ... back bigger, better and stronger. 1- Kahn (2nd Xv 2013), or Lazarus (16 a...

Joel Brown played 8 for TSS- had a very good game, so did PJ at six- neither of them particularly big or strong but agile and able to take good advantage at the back of a rampaging TSS pack that were fresh against an exhausted pre-season BBC, already run off their feet. Bronson, who played 8...
