    NSW AAGPS 2024

Interesting that the Scots players felt it was more important to go and greet their supporters than to go through the Joeys tunnel. The Joeys boys had to wait (impatiently, understandably) for Scots to finish their own festivities before finally clapping them off about 5 mins after the final...

How about that weak defensive channel….

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Where is the weak defensive 10 channel in Fowler, Gough, Logan, Taumoepeau? Fowler one of the best defensive 10’s in the comp, alongside Gough one of the hardest 12’s in contact. Logan showed his defensive chops at Bellevue Hill last year for those who remember and he is coming off the open side...

    NSW AAGPS 2024

I have to say whenever names are discussed on this forum, it’s the same old names from every school. Some are valid, but in a lot of cases it’s just that no-one really makes much effort to look beyond the usual suspects. Go back through this forum and think when you saw a prospect mentioned that...

@LuckyLuc who were the standouts in that game?

    NSW AAGPS 2024

A few others - Gough carried strongly vs Augs/Knox and has scored tries every trial, very direct and hard to stop. Arnautovic at 6, athletic and fantastic in the air and forms a balanced and fast backrow with imposing 8 Taumoepeau and the physical 7 Logan who topped both tackles + carries v Augs.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Joeys v Augs Augs first two tries were intercept and then left foot chip over the top from Walsh which found some space. Lazy D by Joeys and good vision by Walsh. Otherwise Augs did not build much pressure, and Joeys set piece had them well in hand. Joeys bombed a try, so with that and the...

Joe Mangelsdorf massive shoes to fill. Also Charlie O’Kane a big loss.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Cornish hugely under the radar. Kicked 5 from 5 and scored 2 tries last round vs Kings in 3’s. Joeys coaches prefer a distributor as half and Cornish is a runner, would bring great variation and an extra threat if they choose to use him. Also Sharples gone so need a kicker.

Anyone know what happened to Logan from Joeys? Played well first half, made GPS and NSW 2 and seems to have disappeared. Injured or dropped?

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Pretty sure Klem is the best 15 outside of Jacques in any comp. Also have heard that Joe Walsh is playing Friday for ISA which will be good. Not many Joeys boys in the team above? Mangelsdorf and Logan added a fair bit of physicality for GPS 2's, they got 3 dominant tackles in their first half...
