    You don’t choose a captain based on sentiment or how long they’ve been around - you choose someone who leads by example, motivates others, and demonstrates strong leadership. Or at least you should if you want to win.

    It’s been difficult to follow some of the kids we’ve been watching over the years so this will be good to be able to keep an eye on them in their pathway.

    I think the problem with the PONI system is that it interferes with our bragging rights when we think we pick the best team but we can’t reconcile this with the selections because of the exemption of PONI players.
