Another dimension - with Phipps pulled into the Wallabies squad the Rebels are left with one halfback for the game against the Brumbies Friday night. Damien Hill has previous said he wouldn't draft Luke Burgess unless he loses a halfback to injury - maybe Deans is forcing Hill's hand here?

Cheers for the input. Agreed on McCabe's potential - he could be a great line runner, in a Mortlock sort of mould. Think he's best suited at OC long term. This game really showed how little effort Deans pays to the development squads. There was an evident lack of combination and it really hurt...
