2016 NSW JRU State Championships June 11th-13th

Disappointing if those parents have lost the enthusiasm, Bowral is not that far away to travel and is a great place to visit, shop, eat inbetween games if wanted. Does that also mean that when teams in the SJRU Sunday comp for this age group drawn to play Bowral at Bowral will not travel. This...

2016 NSW JRU State Championships June 11th-13th

17's at Bowral see Parramatta, West Harbour, Gordon and Central West in semis. Some very big and mobile boys in Parramatta team. Parramatta an outstanding team. Southern Districts between by Gordon 3 tries to 1 in quarters after Souths finished 2nd in their pool, but hit hard by injuries. Some...

    AICES Rugby

Looking at names missing who from previous comments performed well last year. Harrison Stein, Philip Fine, Tariro Makore, Lachlan Northey, Lakopo ? and Max Swanenberg, but as mentioned don't know if they were there. All talented boys, hope they are still playing rugby.

    AICES Rugby

From posted list of boys that gained selection, it would appear some boys whose names do not appear would be extremely disappointed . Selections are interesting, but as said that's the nature of it. Some talented boys missed out or possibly didn't trial this year?

    Sydney Colts - 2016

Monty Python it was 3rd grade colts, first game of the day and aware only 10 changes can be made, there were not and doubt they were even adked to be reserves for 2nd grade colts game. Anyway, hope they get a game next week whoever they play and they had a good night out when they finally got home.

    Sydney Colts - 2016

Today went to watch some good colts rugby, yet while we try to promote our game it was disappointing to see one coach whose team was being well beaten leave 3 players on the bench, no game time at all and the 3 had no obvious injury etc. Yes every coach has the last say, but he could have given...

    NSW Schools Under 16 Championships - 2015

I do beljeve that the NSWALLSCHOOLS OPENS was held on the Friday before the U/16's carnival and played on the same ground at Knox. So Tyrone could have played in the 16's carnival. Yes he is a talented player and has always been a lot bigger than most but he has been since primary school...

    NSW Schools Under 16 Championships - 2015

I tend to agree with you islandgal, favoritism or bias is alive , but it does happen in all sports at all levels. In relation to the NSWAllSchools U 16s , i believe players selected reflect the majority of the best players 'known' at the carnival , but how does a player get selected that...

NSW JRU State Championships & Representative Teams 2015

Does anyone know if the 16's team is named this year? How did the teams in this age group go?

Totally agree and support all of your comments, tragickingdom. Let's hope and pray the above mentioned people working in AICES can keep the dream alive.

    AICES Rugby

Boof , I find this comment and approach somewhat frustrating, as most of the schools in AICES are small in number of students and staff with rugby experience. They do not have funds, knowledge or more importantly support from NSW or local rugby associations to run programs that will allow the...
