    NSW Schools Debating 2018

Agree about Adj decision rewarding exactly what they said not to do (stats and memorising). Still can’t believe they didn’t see that the speech was memorised (pretty sure he stated the exact number of homeless people in Sydney lol). He should be disqualified but probs won't happen.

Joeys took out Lawrence Campbell, with some controversy over the speech which was apparently a CSDA speech recited word for word. View second and Sydney boys third.

    NSW Schools Debating 2018

"That we should abolish residential colleges at universities" was the topic on friday. Very aff weighted so expecting some big upsets. Anyone got some results?

    2017 Schools Debating (NSW)

PLC (neg) won in a split decision on the topic "That in times of severe economic crisis, the government should censor all news that talks about the state of the economy" Good debate and fair decision imo.

    2017 Schools Debating (NSW)

This Friday in Senoir A is: Shore v Roseville Scots v Joeys Knox v Abbotsleigh Barker v PLC Sydney My predictions would be Shore, Scots, Knox and Barker, but the adjs as well as the topic could see top teams lose like last Friday.

I'm guessing there was only one adjudicator, as I don't think ISDA would provide three for Octos. I only know that Grammar as well as Aloys won in Year 10.

No, there was only one choice for some reason. Also I'm fairly sure Grammar drew Neg on that topic, which is definitely winnable considering the fact that the topic gave the Hollywood wage gap as an example.

I think Grammar Senior As lost.
