Was pretty evenly spread, don't know the exact numbers but I don't think anyone would of gotten a record, probably didn't even come close to the Knox winger who scored 5 or 6 tries against Aloys last year from memory
My predictions for this week
Cranbrook v Auggies: could come down to the wire but Cranbrook 1-10
Barker v Stannies: Barker 45+
Waverley v St Gregs: Waverley - could see it being close in first half but Waverly should pull away 15+
Knox v St Pats: Knox should take care of business easily 25+...
St Gregs beat Aloysius 45 - 7 last weekend, not much impact on my view on them coming into this week however, should be competitive and physical vs Waverly hopefully a tough matchup and test for the Waverly mob.
Very true... end of the day its schoolboy rugby and anything can happen... would love to see a big upset this year... perhaps Waverly on Barker? (calling it early)
G'day gents,
Anyone got the fixtures for this upcoming Saturday the 27th?
Should be interesting to see how Barker plays, have seemed very beatable through the first couple of rounds of play, with players out through through injury etc should be interesting to see how they build chemistry as a...
Funny you should say this... hearing murmurings of Aloysius considering going co-ed as the final stage of their 'plan magis' in 2030... they could dominate the 2030s, a couple of the girls would probably get a game.
Have I missed something on Aloys in the preseason? seen a few posts ranking them higher than I would have expected based on their performance last year.
I assume that there's going to be a large crowd at the Aloys v Knox game due to a doubleheader, (soccer and then Rugby), am an old boy and has always been something that the 1st XV really get up for, you'd assume Knox will still get up by a decent margin but nonetheless should be a decent...
The Incident was a head clash, not a high tackle, both players were not balanced and an unfortunate incident, nothing to do with the unevenness of the teams, could have happened in any other game this weekend.
