Was not aware the Kings 3 Hasani was year 10. Maybe the Y12/11’s need to give him the ball more he was dominating Shore but saw less than expected of that bullocking running. The 15 was sharp too! For Shore seems Nick Wendy has injured himself again sadly as went off early in 2’s if was in...
Kings 3,12,15 played well against Shore. Such a close game.
Some back and forth kicking duels and plenty of aimless kicking in most opens games today 1XV - 4XV. Must admit great to see some backlines actually passing through the hands and playing what’s in front off broken play at time but...
Some confusing officiating (wish we would not allow parents or those associated with schools in upper grades / Opens etc). BUT some players need to keep their mouths shut. You won’t turn over a decision. Take the call refocus on improving your game back chat should be ruled on but posts the...
Having watched View vs Shore backrower turned Prop - #3 Harvison carries well and early days as a prop but the scrum looked solid - he made some rep sides via club rugby pathway last season and was not getting a look in via GPS. Also on a slippery pitch the Shore Fullback offered some zipp.
Shore had the chances and final drive by view was great game management and iced by a pearler from the sideline. Cold wet slippery all round. Well done View.
Reckon will nail it - one of the best game managers in younger age groups have seen. Oli Sinclair too at Scot’s if starting will handle it well. Both look to have time and space when they play. Good luck all.
Good outside backs depth at Shore it seems in Opens 1-4 XV’s but they do need those 5/8 and centres to distribute. Most of all it seems the forwards know when to let the speed work shine of their backs (mind you their captain has some wheels too) . Hard in wet weather and soggy pitches but in...
Surely with a fast driver they can make the run on at 3pm….. it is a 15min drive in Google maps - say 30mins on a Saturday in the inner west! Good luck to the boys.
Will be interested in how the teams change things around for trials in week two. Would be surprised if teams of this weekend are the opening teams - if so maybe a question on the depth of squads - as we all know injuries will sadly play a part !
