Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

Looks like close to a full house at north Sydney oval for the shute shield final ....looks like the fans have gone back to grass roots in preference to being fed gruel by the ARU at the more elite levels ...a great atmosphere .

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

The stats for the 2nd half mean nothing , the game was lost in the 1st half ...the beauty parade of 50 plus players in the initial camp is ludicrous and demeans the Wallaby Jersey . We need to go back to a selection panel that picks the best players on form and capability . The coach then works...

Interaction -What's coming up in your Super Club,Local Club ,School or Association ?

I have suspected that when Rugby initiates programs , player appearances, clinics etc with Rugby participants and the general public that the publicity we see tends to tell us what we have done ...which I see as as lost opportunity ,it would be a reasonable assumption to see what is on the...

Ali Baba to invest $100m to grow Rugby in China.

Forget Kidman Station ....China bid for the Force , sponsored by Crown ? Sweet irony .... and bring Hoppa in as a "skills Coach" although Chinese trade officials seemed to have worked those skills on our hapless political elite already .

    How to fix the wallabies

The Wallabies don't have a problem , I mean those that are playing in Europe and are not over the hill (They are better off being well away from the toxic landscape here). Cheika wants guys to put their hand up but does not seem to develop talent - . The quick fix he had employed started pre...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Bunny Reilly (The Axe) ..fastest league player over 20 metres ...Mark Harris,John Brass loved running off him . In defence the nickname said it all. - "You can't run without legs !"- Jack Gibson ....The Supercoach.

    Worst Commentator Pole Action

Jeff Wilson gets the gong this week for the presentation of the Bledisloe Cap .... Honourable mention to the King of unbiased commentary Phil Kearns who if he had a yacht should call it "Mediocrity"

    How to fix the wallabies

Wamberal , I believe your heart is in the right place ....the transition from amateur to professional has been a painful experience at times . I glad you agree with me that currently the ARU adopts a top down stance , do I understand you correctly that "It is not the job of the ARU to look after...

    How to fix the wallabies

The game in New Zealand seems to operate on a bottom up top down basis , whilst we seem to be coming at it from a top down standpoint which has not served us well. Talk to a kiwi and you can sense the passion ... I just don't get that in Australia as we are not taken on the journey by the upper...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

No ..seemed like a bad dream ..taped it for my son who was out for the night ...watched it with him today ...felt no better 2nd time around

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

I watched it twice - my conclusion : "The Late Rodney King would have put up more of a fight". The Wallabies are a team of individuals playing for their spots whilst the All Blacks are a Champion Team who help each other build to become champion players . i think Chieka and his coaching team...

    The Wallabies Thread

I got a message from a mate in Paris who caught the Bourdeaux vs Racing Metro (T14 Champs) ...Bordeaux won 15-9 in a boilover , said Jones had a solid game ...Looking forward to see how Liam Gill fares for Toulon .

    The Wallabies Thread

I was waiting for mention of a nuclear strike or - "Were going to build a wall on our try line ...it`s going to be huge , and New Zealand will pay for it ....."

Listening device found in All Black hotel

No matter , you can't wire tap belief , I think the All Blacks have that in spades . The Wallabies are capable of getting into that headspace but not consistently ...While players are picked on Chieka's tactics against form it will either be a painful process to redemption or a bridge too far ...
