    Reds @ Fiji - 12:05 Saturday 03/05

While true, out of that match day 23 only two have returned from long stints in the rehab centre (Jock and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)). Nasser seems to be on his third season with a long stint on the sidelines and probably gives Wright a run for his money on games missed.

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

Damn should have gone full hog and put the Schmidt's next door to a neurosurgeon in North Shore or Bondi with a live in nurse so we could have gotten Joe for the RWC.

My mistake it was 3 years ago in Japan. Christ covid has destroyed my brain and sense of time.

Have Quade has a bloody cannon. I've forgotten when it was but he threw it across the field to an open Davies/Digby over his head mid game year ago.

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

Not a bad outcome to be honest. Gives Les and QR the time to sort out a succession plan and enact it with Les still there next year. Also means Les will presumably get a full "off-season" with the Wallabies squad rather than coming in with limited preparation.

I'd probably add, that none of those who've left (outside of Stewart) were designated squad centres. James was a 10 who covered 12/13/15. Annan was a Full Back who got shifted as a makeshift 13 and JP was primarily used on the wing and 15. Injury and suspensions have big the biggest disruptor...

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

Did Payto really have to gauge Eddie Jones's opinion on the appointment. Out of all the retirees, he picked Jones?

With Smithy going, I reckon that frees up Uru to be given a pay increase + hopefully a Wallaby top up. We probably then need to find the next generation of tall timber and start bringing them into the professional fold and get some weight onto their growing frame.

I don't think that's the problem though. Henry clearly has talent, the problem is, his body has so far been unable to stay injury free. With new recruits like Dre coming through combine with our already developed stars, at what point do you acknowledge that whatever is being paid to Henry...

Doran is reporting we may see even more forced rests of Lynagh and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) - https://www.theroar.com.au/2025/04/28/reds-super-rugby-title-hopes-dealt-blow-after-wallabys-injury-revealed-as-kiss-hints-at-changes-for-drua-clash/ I wonder if the Reds have given up going for top 2 and will settle for...

    Aussie Player Exodus

I'm more worried about the Perth team than I am with the PNG team. The latter will be great at picking up PNG based players, but, who from Australia will want to pack up their family and most likely, live in a compound in PNG? It's similar to what we've seen over the last couple of years in...

Jock didn't make any good connections to with foot and ball but as someone sitting on the half way, Lynagh was doing line drop outs to over the 50m mark.

I reckon you're not doing any favours to Dre. He's playing well above his weight and just seems to find the hole between two defenders and get us over the advantage line consistently. The Blues set pieces were ordinary last night. I know the Reds have been blasted for their line outs but it...

Tizzano is like the character Rudy. All heart and no impact. He was so ineffectual last year for the Wallabies, a pure ankle biter.
