Very excited to see what NCDC can bring to a test side although gut feel is that it's mostly likely going to happen in the Spring Tour. Feels like the type of player built to be abrasive in that environment.

Ineligible until after Fiji I think so can't be included in the squad

2 weeks? Probably enough time - I think Joe has played his hand here with JOC (James O'Connor)

Just not included. Beyond the aggrandising who could potentially feature - based on what Schmidt has said there's no surprises here. I imagine that players like Kerevi will get a chance to impress in both tour games, potentially JOC (James O'Connor) as well.

He was a gun last year in the November series.

    Lions Tour 2025

? All of that is completely irrelevant to the issue at hand, as: The constant and key critique of the northern-foreign-born player influx (or whatever you want to label it) is that the players weren't born, raised and/or developed in those countries - which is exactly the same for Uru, Tupou...

Toole is still in the "5 potential debutants" piece

Oh so you're a traitor coward then.

    Lions Tour 2025

Without doubt is a pretty funny indictment on those countries development pathways, especially Scotland

I'd pull in Lonergan for an injury before white tbh

    Lions Tour 2025

Which if true is basically the same reason Aki and Lowe ended up in Ireland.

    Lions Tour 2025

It's still hypocritical. All of those players in the example didn't migrate to Australia, then play rugby - they migrated specifically to play rugby - much like Hansen et al. Our migrant population is contextually irrelevant.

    Lions Tour 2025

But they didn't, they picked players who qualified for those 4 countries. I'm sorry but you can't bemoan a system that you also are benefitting from, without also calling out your team for doing so (and if you have done in the past, fair fucks to ya then play on).

    Lions Tour 2025

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. It's less hypocritical because their foreign home is closer than those Lion's foreign home? Why aren't we signing up every half decent Kiwi teenager then?

    Lions Tour 2025

It is what it is, I'm not going to be mad if Tupou or Uru win us games.
