Wins and losses will then doom the next Sunnybank coach too then. Maybe even the one after that. They aren't winning squat without rebuilding the club's playing group. When Roiri came in, Prems were largely in the same spot (definitely/admittedly winning more with less depth) and the colts were...

Rob Roiri has done an excellent job so far. Lower grades are full with a couple of them performing, colts 1 is decent with good coaches in place. Would be silly to move him now that they're building to something.

Joe Kelly was fighting pretty hard for the Easts funding too. And the GPS upgrade was delivered by Labor. Good to see the LNP back those in, and also to provide some money for Brothers, whether we like them or not they are probably the most important club in the comp and their facilities are...

    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

One of the best things about AIC compared to other comps is that the strength fluctuates frequently between all of the schools - good cohorts organically come through at varying times improving the chances of different schools winning the comp. In answering the question about programs, again, it...

I agree that there is good structure in both sides, and agree with Dabu too. I reckon the difference between the approaches is that it looks like Marist have a plan B and that they have the players to bust open the game when it counts. But Padua are very, very tough and stick to their tasks as...

That Marist team looks very well coached. Reckon if it is close on the weekend, that'll be the difference and they'll get the chocolates.

Pretty good list. Mine starts with Wally Lewis, and also includes Elton Flatley and Chris Feauai-Sautia. Lynagh, Cooper to round it out. Honourable mentions to O'Connor and Mat Rogers. Ponga was incredible but Mason, Su'a and Perese had as much if not more impact in that team.

That's true. Although I'd actually love to see a home and away season over 2 terms. Would never happen though.

Maybe to avoid immersions, improve the quality of rep teams and enable a club juniors post-season, we could just move rugby back to term 2.

The Villa 15 was incredible last round too, and the Iona 15 has just been selected in Qld 1 schoolboys. So much talent across the comp in that spot.

I've heard the same about Hunt. I mean if we go way back we are talking about Wally Lewis, Peter Jackson, the Walters brothers but doubt many people saw them play schoolboys or if they did the memories would be pretty faded. I did get to see Mat Rogers play as a schoolboy, and he was certainly...

Ponga was definitely excellent but only got to play in grade 11 before being shipped back to Townsville. I think both Izzy Perese and Jaydn Su'a outshone him in that Churchie side for most games. Ponga would've been truly frightening if he got the extra year. Tabuai-Fidow was incredible. Not...
