The overall finals structure was fine, all that needs to happen is the lucky loser drops to the bottom of the pile.

    SF2: Chiefs v Brumbies Saturday 14/06

Saw one of those at Edinburgh Castle a few weeks ago, made us laugh.

Yeah it would make sense to have at least a full 15 to train with while they are in these hubs so a couple of extra in positions which are 50/50 on the first chice (in Schmidt's eyes) makes sense.

    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

As I said, I agree with you, but it hasn't really resulted in a different pair of semis to what several other iterations would have. The Brumbies should have a home semi but that's not because of the finals structure.

    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

Look, I do agree with you, I think when they worked this out they weren't really expecting the 1st placed team to lose to the 6th placed one, statistically. If done your way someone would be playing the Chiefs in Hamilton and someone would be playing the Crusaders in Christchurch. It's not...

    Qualifying Final: 2.Crusaders v 5.Reds 6/06

I’d say he would just have been another name in the conversation about Australia not having a standout 10. We will never know though.

Bizarre that JAS got the fullback spot considering the number of games he played

Blues v NSW Waratahs Rd 16. Sat May 31, 2025

He’s not as good as he used to be but holding up a scrum is pretty important for a tight head prop.

Blues v NSW Waratahs Rd 16. Sat May 31, 2025

If he didn’t try to throw the pass the blues likely would have turned it over at the ruck anyway as they had all the go forward, so he made a call under pressure. The scrum since he went off shows why he was left out there as long as possible.

Blues v NSW Waratahs Rd 16. Sat May 31, 2025

Looking at the replay from behind he attempted to flick it up to Bowen and it was just off the mark, I dont think a tight head prop will be dumped for that.

Can’t have been because the TMO had a look at it behind the scenes and it was all good apparently.

Blues v NSW Waratahs Rd 16. Sat May 31, 2025

His defense is not his strong point but I think somewhat understandably he, and the team in general, have a brief to take a few risks and play for a bit of luck as it’s the only thing that’s going to win them the game and get them into the finals. Likely to end in tears but at 17-6 they were...

Force v Tahs wooden spoon battle?

I'm overseas and have only just managed to see the highlights for this. That was clearly a try by Lancaster at the end. It was marginal but as BH says all that was required was that there was no separation, and there wasn't.

Yes if we are going to play Kerevi, JAS goes to one wing
