    Wallabies 2021

Beale to be called up. Shock horror. Cue the rants from BR and a few Qlders. I'm OK with the Jap player thing. When they were signed neither the players nor the clubs were expecting them to be able to be picked for the Wallabies. Japan is a perfect solution for us going forward with respect...

    League of Nations or EOYT?

Yes you would think they would apply some rational logic to it rather than purely which way the water drains down the sink.

its still the same type of prejudicial garbage that was trotted out about Quade and JOC before their recalls. anyway will leave it alone now. Sounds like he’s in the frame if Hodge doesn’t come good.

What tripe. I get that you fellas don't like the bloke, but I'd challenge you to cite the 'numerous' incidents you refer to that he was 'cancerous' and 'disruptive' to team culture. 1- Delve (2012), 2- Hungry Jacks (2013) [with the other Amigos now in the squad], 3 - Patson (2014) 4- ? From...

He was disinterested, exemplified by when he went on an Alan Jones harbour cruise and not bothering to turn up to the Tahs game the next day - or something along those lines, can't remember the specific detail. He had tuned out with Covid all but fucking up the Supe season and with his France...

He wasn't a failure. They would have trained for this as a contingency plan but not as the main plan. Contingency plans in all walks of life tend to be more conservative than the main one. He was solid, I don't recall him making any errors, he wasn't Folau-esque under the high ball or in...

If Hodge is out I think it's a near certainty that Beale will be called in. I think they'll continue to develop Kellaway at 15 with Petaia on the wing, but Kurtley in the 23 shirt definitely has some appeal. Unless you're Brumby Runner ;)

Based on this you're right regardless of how you look at it: 4 WHO THROWS-IN The throw-in is taken by an opponent of the player who last held or touched the ball before it went into touch. When there is doubt, the attacking team takes the throw-in. Exception When a team takes a penalty kick...

Yeah what I meant was that as the ball wasn't touched by anyone in between hitting the upright, coming back into the field of play, and going into touch, it became dead at that point and should have simply been deemed a missed penalty shot and therefore a 22 drop out.

Someone more in the know than me can comment, but I think the ball is dead when it hits the upright? I actually think it should have been a 22 as no one touched it before it went into touch, therefore it was just a standard missed attempt.

That's an incorrect stat, we won 5 in a row at the RWC in 2015, and I think we might have won the lead up game against the USA as well, making it at least 6? Still, I contend that the bottom has passed for Aus rugby.

No FTA channel. i can understand why it’s not on FTA. Im as rusted on as they come but I’ll still be flicking between the game and Cox Plate Day. If it was on FTA the ratings would get slammed, plus 9 can use it to get more Stan subs. I’ll critique from the replay tomorrow.

It doesn’t have to be, but it’s now a core role of the hooker, especially at the elite level. Club teams regularly use flankers and props, and a long time ago it used to be a winger, even in internationals.
