Football is the most played GPS sport, not exactly a "fringe" sport. The likes of Grammar haven't won a major sporting premiership in 1sts (basketball, football, cricket, rugby, rowing) since 2005. High won 1sts football, rifle shooting, volleyball, won the fencing national championships and currently topping debating. Their rugby program is clearly an issue but not that bad for a school as a whole. Comparatively, Grammar haven't won nearly as much.

I love the Shore propaganda. Kudos of course for winning but plainly lying about football Premiers is arrogant and undermines High winning the league for the first time 29 years. It seems High chose to excel in other sports to the detriment of rugby.
