    I think that strip was used for a period when the club merged with Redcliffe Rugby club. Will stand corrected though. The club has an interesting history.

    They looked a well coached side against Padua so hes doing a good job. Ashgrove was the only side that knew how to counteract the Padua blitz defence.

    Great game. Padua deserving winners. Well coached and played to their strengths - kick chase. Ashgrove also seemed well prepared - had their chances but couldn't execute. Awesome atmosphere and a fitting end to the AIC season.

    New number 8 for Padua on the social media page - haven't seen him all year- back from injury or parachuted in for the grand final? Predicting a close game initially but the brown dogs to win by 20 plus.

    Downlands could be brought into First XV as an associate member. Would be highly competitive from the get go.

    Great win for Norths Eagles. Coming off a 5 game losing streak, but most of those were competitive contests. Not sure where Goggins came from but he was best forward on ground by a long way.

    Laurie's very one dimensional against Padua. Iona must be disappointed in their season. Usually one of the front runners.

    Great game between 2 evenly matched teams at Villa Park. Padua adapted well to not having their playmaker in the side and deserved the hard fought win. Villa gave them a real scare however. Predicting last round Ashgrove v Padua will determine the premiership.

    Closer game than usual between Villa and Laurie's in the local derby. Villa might surprise a few teams this year.

    That was a red card for sure. Brothers player played the man in the air - no play for the ball as the Stan replays suggest.

    I thought the ref was pretty good- the first Brothers try was from a blatant forward pass - apart from that howler he seemed fair. Norths definitely had Brothers measure and with three squandered try opportunities should go forward in the comp with confidence.
