Maybe we should be happy that the refereeing quality is higher than the playing standard of 4th div second grade subbies (most subbies). We aren't professionals and neither are they. I for one am thankful that I can run around on a Saturday and drop a pass from 2m away. Thanks refs.

I see that in everyone's predicted divisions for 2023 Barker is included in div 2. Surely this can't be allowed to happen if they can only field 1 grade and u21s at this point in the season.

Don't see much point doing a div 2 selections this week, HV by 50, Beecroft 30, Hills 40, UNSW 30, Linfield 20. Can Blacktown pull off an upset?

Will fall on my own sword here, didn't think Linfield had it in them. All the cricket scores predicted eventuated, suggesting there is only a few premiership contenders in div 2 this year. Congrats to UNSW for putting up a decent show.

I think you're pretty bang on here. Interesting matches are the Hills v Linfield and UNSW v Newport. I too see a tight match in Hills, with Linfield just getting out toughed towards the end. UNSW Newport is either going to be a close battle or Newport will romp it in, just depends which UNSW...
