Australia A would be fine in my opinion as it is a step up, but after half a season of super rugby and being so young I think it would be stupid to put him in the wallabies squad. Bolter for World Cup though

Exactly why I’m glad Lynagh wasn’t picked in the squad. You only need to look at JOC (James O'Connor) to see why we should give them a year or two more to get established before blooding them.

I can’t wait to see all the union players trying to sign with the NRL or who move overseas. I happen to know multiple players who are incredibly pissed off at the $1.6 mil deal so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

To quote Brandon Smith, “a 1.6 million dollar winger isn’t going to help you beat the all blacks”. I will add here that Rugby Australia is currently the laughing stock of the NRL, who we can all agree has us beat at this point.
