On that note and without knowing who Les has lined up, if recruiting to bolster the squad where do you think the best value could be added?
My wishlist would be getting hold of a high quality lock - I think our current guys are good especially Blyth if he can string a body of games together...

Listened to that as well, was a good podcast. Based off his comments and the trial games so far does anyone else get the sense he is implementing an Irish sort of style? Ie high possession with ruck and running fitness proficiency to support it, ambition to get the ball into space and emphasis...
I like all this. The September to November timing would have the added benefit of some clear air time with the other football codes having finished for the year. Got to have some appeal to a broadcaster surely?
Whichever way we look at it it’s a great problem to have. Only other thing I’ll add is that based off Les’s comments around wanting an aggressive, progressive style of attack that isn’t afraid to pull the trigger etc, HMP’s style to me best fits this philosophy.
