Winter Tour; Wallabies v France Wednesday 7 July, Brisbane

I was initially sceptical but I really enjoyed the mid week test. It wasn't competing with anything else and I enjoyed having something great to watch on a Wednesday night.

Winter Tour; Wallabies v France Wednesday 7 July, Brisbane

A very entertaining end to the match. I think the Wallabies will glean a lot of self belief and confidence from this game. To come back from 15 points down to win in the 82nd minute is a great effort. I am very happy for the Wallabies an all Australian Rugby fans. Well done!

    Super TT final

When Tupou Vaa'i was selected NZ was in a lock crisis. He was a pretty controversial pick who performed well during Super Rugby Aotearoa. Zarn Sullivan played just one game of Super Rugby Aotearoa this year, so Foster would be essentially be selecting him based on TT Super Rugby form. I think the kid is a very...

    Super TT final

It will be interesting to see how the Blues manage their squad next year. They have so many first fives, with Black, Plummer, Zarn Sullivan and Stephen Perofeta currently in their squad, and Beauden Barrett returning next year from Japan. Surely at least one of those number 10's will move to...

    Super TT final

That's a fair question. We've never previously had two Super Rugby titles awarded in one season and so this is a new scenario. I think neither title will mean as much as it would have if the other one hadn't been played. Another twist is that Super Rugby. Aotearoa is likely to never be played...

    Super TT final

The Blues have arguably the best depth at no.10 in NZ, with Otere Black, Harry Plummer and Stephen Perofeta all being Super Rugby level standard first fives. Zarn Sullivan is another player who can play 10. It would be ridiculous for Leon Mcdonald to bring Beauden Barrett into the team at first...

    Super TT final

I'm hoping for a close an exciting game. Finals generally aren't shoot-outs and I expect this one to be tight and even. The Highlanders have shown that they can beat anyone when they play well, and I will be cheering them on this weekend.

    Trans Tasman 2022

I think this year's TT was cobbled together very quickly, under difficult circumstances, and therefore was extremely flawed. The lack of a break between the domestic finals and when this comp started, the uneven number of home games and the lack of intra-conference matches were all problematic...
