    Agreed ATA, A birdy told me that the portable stands are gonna be placed on the far side of the field like the tennyson ground to increase the much needed atmosphere, also believe an old boys round could be on the cards back at the spring hill campus which would be a cracker.

    God I miss seeing The Light Dark Blue playing on R.A Henderson Oval aka 'The Snake Pit'. Use to be one of the best grounds in the comp.

    I believe during BGS bye round which i think is round 1 of the GPS season (don't know if Grammar will play a full side, risking any injuries before the season)

    I still believe boarders were not available that week and it was the grammar boys first trial game together so tough to judge

    It wasnt a full strength BGS side I believe as many of the boarders and Met North League boys were unavailable so again it was a seconds and first mixed team, not taking anything away from the boys on the hill.

    The Grammar all dark blue jersey with only the light blue collar is simplistic but has tons of history behind it, heard it was based off the all blacks jersey when a NZ teacher came to the school and pitched the idea.

    Can't go past that 2012 BGS premiership team brings a tear to my eye when I watch back those highlights, Those were the days.

    BGS had plenty out as well, 4 boys out for Met North League and 3 out for Met North Union so under strengthed as well. Plenty of the Grammar 1xv regulars were also rested to give way for some 2xv boys to have a crack.

    I believe this 3 way trial isnt the full strength 1xv team but rather a seconds and 16a's trial as met north union and league boys are all still unavailable, I believe all schools made an agreement.
