    2018 schools rowing

JM4+ of new, shore and kings had a bad row, unfortunately not making it through. Hopefully these men can do great things with their new club in the coming season.

    2017 Schools Rowing

Newington 1st VIII pulled a 6:20 today For reference, the SRC VIII with two Rio olympians and two world uni games medalists on board went 6:09 5 minutes later - So I'm assuming a bit of a headwind. Anyone out there want to say what it was like?

I thought it was for everywhere. I would have assumed Iggies would due to their large numbers across their Rugby program. A quick google found it to be compulsory at Newington and King's (and I think scots?), whilst Sydney Grammar boys can leave sport after their term 1 commitments in year 11...

Ah well, so good to get eight GPS rowers on display at the Juniors, and another three in the U23 team. Now back to the GPS, how are all the schools going at the start of their testing/training?

The heavy eight is the only coxed boat class at the senior level. As for women, there is no coxed four or pair. Hence, why she took up para rowing, where there is the LTAMix4+ (a class which Australia has a real opportunity at winning at the upcoming paralympics)

30? I think this rounds it out to a nice 70 haha It is disappointing, on top of this Jürgen Grobler was also a successful coach in Australia in the 90's and is not the head of GB Rowing
