=1. Cranbrook/Barker
3. Knox
4. Aloys
5. Waverley
6. Trinity
I've made some big calls here so I'll try my best to justify:
Cranbrook: Despite a loss first round, their win against Knox just proves they can beat anyone. Now while we know you don't always play perfectly every game, the boys...
Allow me to rephrase that one runningrugby. From what I saw, Weber did well to shutdown certain Cranbrook players, and if he hadn't played the way he did, it could've been a much bigger loss.
Well said J Dog, I don't think D'Agostino had a bad game, in fact he played quite well, he was just outplayed by Webber. Haven't seen too much of D'Agostino apart from his game against Riverview in the first trial. As for Webber, he too played quite well against Cranbrook in Trial #5 and was...
Don't worry MP (Moana Pasifika), there was no way I was missing that game, just let me watch it again!!! I had a gut feeling the boys from Milsons Point would pull through and so they did. For myself, I though Charlie Webber (15) for Aloys was man of the match. Despite a couple missed penalty kicks, his field...
Too true MP (Moana Pasifika)! Especially that last bit! Exactly a year ago people were commenting on how Barker ran over Brook, with Brook not being ready for Knox the week after. Come Saturday 5pm David had taken down Goliath, decently as well. I'm backing Brook all the way for this matchup along with Waverley...
After last weekend, I think people are starting to doubt Brook. Yes, they did go down to Barker by 9 but I think that came from a lack of strong trial matchups as we can all agree. Coming off a tough loss from Barker, I really think the boys from Bellevue Hill will give it to Knox both through...
Best matchups player wise for this Friday night? I think both teams have a lot of skilled players on their own whilst also being dominate teams when these players work together. I've heard some big names floating around this page with the likes of Rechner etc. Everyone's thoughts?
Thoughts on the CAS games next weekend? I believe its:
Knox v Waverley
Cranbrook v Barker
Aloys v Trinity
Seems as though it might be a very interesting first round with what should be some close games...
