    Rugby 7s general chat

Australia. On numerous occasions the last few years. He comes in for single competitions the same way Kerevi does. Often the same competitions. Isn't a regular squad member for the HSBC 7's.

Numerous times. He's done quite well too, even when he was sucking in the Waratahs he was still good in 7's.

    Waratahs 2023

He never really made an impact in the pre-season trials and never got an opportunity after them. Doesn't sound like he would have gotten much game time, so it's not surprising to see him exploring other options. Best of luck to him.

    Wallabies 2023

I don't seem to get those emails, despite being a NSW Waratahs member. Reached out today to the Tahs to try to find out why, hopefully get it fixed in the future. In the meantime I've managed to get someone to forward the email through to me and have my ticket for the SFS match all booked. :D

Wait, when did I say what you quote me as saying? If I click on the link it takes me to a post where I say nothing even remotely related.

Australian Bid for 2027 World Cup

-points up to my earlier post- 52,500. Minimum capacity according to world rugby is 60,000. Apparently there's plans to upgrade it to 65,000, but I have no idea how far along those plans are.

Australian Bid for 2027 World Cup

Look at how good Melbourne was for the Super Round. Between 6 matches across 3 days they got ... fewer people than a single NRL match the following day. Melbourne is the accountants choice. It's got the most seats for overseas bums to occupy (100,000) and the associated $$, but other than those...

    Waratahs 2022

So is everyone planning on coming this Saturday as well as the 28th to Fill The Hill? DC's put out the call. https://www.smh.com.au/sport/rugby-union/fill-the-hill-soaring-tahs-eye-home-final-and-leichhardt-fortress-20220508-p5ajh5.html We're getting around 10,000 to matches, but apparently...

Archer has been the only person covering THP I've actually liked. The rest (including Ruan) haven't impressed me much. Curious to see what Paddy's like.
