Was Meredith originally a fullback that that shifted to flyhalf? I'd say he's probably the best candidate to fill in back there as he has both the counter attacking and playmaking skillsets which are both ideal for a modern fullback. And I expect Edmed will be the preferred flyhalf.

I think Wilson benefits from playing a touch wider and being that conduit between the forwards and backs, kind of like Kieran Read... I feel like his game suffered a bit towards the end of the year, and the team overall, when we didn't have more of those more effective big body carriers hitting...
