They were pretty close too playing finals footy.
finished the season on bye week but 2nd last round of season in a game against wests which was a must win… they put a cricket score on the bulldogs colts.
they are called Agents. They have connections inside the industry.
sure the highlight packages are up online for everyone to see… but ya think some Italian rugby club looking for a new qpr lock is just throwing out contract details in the comments of YouTube?
good on Rob Roiri… actually a lot of respect for him @The Whisperer. When his nephew left for East tigers this season, Rob still hung around as part of colts setup…. Hopefully Taine follows his Uncle down to Sunnybank.
interestingly I had heard one of the wests boys listed from those teams had picked up a super rugby contract (with a franchise not named the reds or rebels)
I didn’t say that gentlemen’s name because I was waiting on the official announcement… I’m kind of glad I didn’t open my big mouth about...
How do they address this?
I would like to see a over 30s discount at all clubs for returning players… let’s be honest most people are considering retirement when they hit 30 - but a player might decide not to hang it up if there is a incentive such as cheaper playing subs.
Also I am absolutely against Heenan simply being parachuted into the role.
If we move on from Brad Thorn I want a proper interviewing process where as the best person is selected for role.
we may very well move on from Brad & Heenan might be the guy but let’s make sure we do our due process...
I think Thorn doing a good job and I expect him to get another contract extensionZ
He will have his critics and some (like Phil + salty fox sports) will use this to try and have him replaced.
where there is smoke there is fire, but look at Thorn track record. About 80-90% of his playing group...
It’s a valid point.
The wallabies suck and the team is littered with the players from the nations best club brumbies…
if we are going to keep losing let’s just stack the team with reds and warratahs so we can boost up tv viewership numbers
