First Nations & Pasifika XV vs the Lions - Tue, Jul 22 @ 8:00 PM, Melbourne

Since when does a touring team dictate who can and can't be picked for the opposition? It's ludicrous!

Yep, no doubt there is much work to do. But as the Kev Carmody- Paul Kelly song goes, little things like this can help make things grow.

We have to find a way to get Aboriginal kids to stay with the game. Concepts like this are a great way to make connections, rugby is missing out on a lot of talent with indigenous people choosing the other codes. Other codes that sometimes don't really value their contributions. Especially AFL.

In that case I'd like to see Champion on the bench.

People will always talk shit. 22 isn't young for a test run on debut and he has enough professional experience now.

In the squad with all the rest of them? Is this a trick question?

I hope Lynagh has a blinder and puts this circular argument to bed once and for all. I reckon he's right up to the task.

They're all playing AFL or league. Who else could have been chosen?

I can, Fiji are a seriously good team, especially at home. The Scots have shallow depth after the Lions players are gone, possibly an injury or two. Thanks for the lift up the rankings from our Fijian brothers and the Poms beating the Argies away from home, our World cup draw could be more...

Does this Lions series have any bearing on the rankings?

Hegarty! There's a blast from the past, where has he been playing the past few years?

Jim Tucker is the man most sorely missed in my opinion.

I'd reckon he's more like a hemorrhoid than the whole arsennnnal.
