Two years in the 1st XV, including being a part of a premiership-winning team in 2024, tells me your nephew is a solid rugby player. Being a 4th-generation Shore boy is also great. However, being captain isn't an honorary position. It requires leadership skills and a strategic rugby mind. Being...

I wouldn't agree the Cranbrook team were dominant the whole match. Most of the first half was played in Cranbrook's half, and they went into half time 5-5. Shore's kickers need to know where the ball is going, and instead of handing the ball to their opposition, they should find touch or contain it.

No, I believe everything rests with the Shore boys. My observations are that the backs seem flat and somewhat hesitant. They allow their opposition to close the gap and even appear to be waiting for them to come to them. The forward pack needs to do some work at the breakdown and guard that...

Just for clarity. Shore is playing Waverley at Queens Park for the 1s, 2s and 3s.

Most of the boarders I know do the short sport and then hit the gym for a rugby workout. They're not interested in hanging in the house.

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

I spoke with Dr Collier (Shore) last year and he mentioned that the section around sports scholarships in the AAGPS Code of Conduct had quietly disappeared. I'm not sure if it used to sit in 6.9 and it was removed in the 2023 revision? There is definitely a lot of false accusations of boys...
